Inter City Fire District Levy Additions, 2 (April 2012)
Two Inter City Fire District Levy Addition measures were on the April 3, 2012 ballot in the Inter city fire district area which is in Jackson County.
Both measures were approved
The first measure sought to add to the current levy by a rate of $.30 per $100 of assessed value for an ongoing amount of time in order to pay for emergency ambulance services in the district.
The second measure sought to add to the current levy by a rate of $.40 per $100 of assessed value for an ongoing amount of time in order to pay for emergency medical programs to train employees in the district.[1]

Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
Question 1: Shall the Inter City Fire Protection District be authorized to provide emergency ambulance service within the District and be authorized to levy a tax not to exceed thirty cents on the one hundred dollars assessed valuation to provide funds for such service?
Question 2: Shall the board of directors of the Inter City Fire Protection District be authorized to levy an additional tax of not more than forty cents per one hundred dollars assessed valuation to provide funds for the support of an ambulance service or partial or complete support of an emergency medical technician defibrillator program or partial or complete support of an emergency medical technician paramedic first responder program?[3] |
