The Iowa General Election Dates Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the 1882 ballot in Iowa as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure provided that state, district, county and township general elections take place on the Tuesday after the first Monday of November.[1][2]
