Primary: She was successful in the primary on June 3rd, 2014, receiving 46.5 percent of the vote. She competed against Katherine M. Bidegaray.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 49.1 percent of the vote. She competed against incumbent Katherine M. Bidegaray.

Christoffersen received her J.D. from Montana State University School of Law.[3]
Career
Christoffersen is a deputy attorney in Richland County. She is also a prosecutor at the adult treatment court.[3][4]
