Jennifer Johnson was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 4th Congressional District of Utah.[1] She withdrew from the race on March 31, 2014[2]

Biography

Johnson earned her bachelor's degree in computer science and her M.B.A. from Brigham Young University. Her career experience includes being the principal and founder of an investment management company and private investment fund. At the time of her candidacy, Johnson was serving as a member of the Utah State Board of Education.[3]

Johnson ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent Utah's 4th District. She withdrew from the race on March 31, 2014 explaining that "It is just not the right time for me, my family, my profession, my community and my work on the State Board of Education."[2]
