John D. Boeh is a municipal court judge for the municipality of St. Joseph in Buchanan County, Missouri. He was elected to the court in April of 2001, completing the term of the retiring presiding judge, before being elected to his own term in 2002. In April 2014, he was elected to his fourth term on the court.[1][2][3]

He ran for the 5th Circuit Court in 2014 but lost in the primary.[4][5]

Boeh ran for election to the 5th Circuit Court.
Primary: He was defeated in the Democratic primary on August 5, 2014, receiving 28.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Chad Gaddie, Mike Insco and Gary Myers. [4][5]

Education

Boeh earned his B.A. in 1974 and his J.D. in 1977, both from the Washburn University of Topeka.[6][7]

Career

Before Boeh became a municipal judge, he was a city prosecutor and city attorney for the city of St. Joseph.[7]
