John D. Allen (Georgia)
John D. Allen was the chief judge of the Chatthoochee Circuit of Georgia.[1] He officially retired on October 31, 2013.[2]
Education
Allen received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Tuskegee University in 1966 and his J.D. from the University of Florida. He was admitted to the bar in 1976.[2][3][4]

- 1987-1993: Judge, Georgia State Courts
- 1986-1987: Recorder's Court Judge
- 1976-1987: Attorney, Columbus, Georgia[4]
2012 election
Allen ran unopposed for re-election to the Chattahoochee Superior Court.[5] He was re-elected after receiving 99.7% of the vote in the July 31 election.[6]
