John D. Boland

John D. Boland is a judge on the Windham District Superior Court in Connecticut.[1] Boland was appointed to the court in 1981 by Governor William O'Neill.[2]
Military service
Boland served in the United States Army after being drafted in May 1943. He earned both a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star before being discharged in 1946.[2]
Education
Boland received his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and his J.D. from Georgetown University.[3]
Career
Prior to his appointment to the Windham District Superior Court, Boland was a probate judge in Norwich, Connecticut. He has also worked in private practice and as the deputy judge of the Norwich city court.[2]
