John H. Sugiyama is a former judge for the Superior Court of Contra Costa County in California.[1]

Sugiyama won re-election in 2010. He ran unopposed.[2]

Education

Sugiyama received a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1972 and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law in 1975.[3]

Career

Prior to becoming a judge for the Superior Court of Contra Costa County, Sugiyama worked for the California Department of Justice.[3]
