John M. Newson

John M. Newson is a judge for the New London District Superior Court in Connecticut.[1] He was nominated by Governor Jodi Rell in September 2010. His current term expires in 2019.[2]
Education
Newson earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island. He was awarded a J.D. in 1996 from the Western New England College, School of Law.[3]
Career
Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Newson served as a public defender in the Windham Judicial District.[4]
