A Johnson County Jail Addition measure was on the May 4, 2010 ballot in Johnson County.

This measure sought approval of expanding the county jail located in the city of Franklin, the project would have been for 400 additional beads and would have cost around $23 million to construct. The measure would also have increased local property taxes by around $23 per $150,000 of assessed property value per year.[2]
