Jonathan Bruce Pototsky is a judge on the Garfield County Court in Colorado. Pototsky was appointed by Governor Bill Ritter to succeed Jason D. Jovanovich, effective January 11, 2011.[1] He was retained by voters in 2014, winning a four-year term that expired on January 7, 2019. [2]

Pototsky was retained to the Garfield County Court, Colorado with 75.6 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3] 

Judicial performance evaluation

The Colorado Commissions on Judicial Performance recommended that Judge Potosky be Retained. The full report is available here.

Education

Pototsky received his B.B.A. from the University of Miami in 1987 and his J.D. from Thomas Cooley Law School in 1991.[1]

Career

Pototsky spent much of his career in the private practice of law. Also, he served as an assistant public defender in Michigan's Kent County Office of the Defender.[1][4]
