Joseph Moothart is an associate district judge of District 1B of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in 1985.[1]

Education

Moothart received his undergraduate degree in 1972 from Creighton University and his law degree in 1977 from the University of Nebraska.[1]

Career

Moothart then worked as a private practice lawyer in Cedar Falls until his judicial appointment in 1985.[1]

2012 election

Moothart was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 78.59% of the vote.[2][3]
