Julie Shapiro Harris was a 2014 candidate for the Seventeenth Circuit Court in Florida.[1]

Harris ran for election to the Seventeenth Circuit Court.
Primary: She was defeated in the primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 44.81 percent of the vote. She competed against Stacey Schulman.

Education
Harris earned her B.A. from Emory University in 1982 and her J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in 1995. She also holds a M.S.W. from the Florida State University College of Social Work.[3]
Career
In 2014, Harris was a staff attorney for the Domestic Violence Department of the Broward County Clerk of Court. She started her career as an sole practitioner and attorney in the Domestic Violence Unit at the Legal Aid Service of Broward County, Inc.[3]
