A Laurie City Out-Of-State Use Tax question was tied on the April 2, 2013 election ballot in Camden County, which is in Missouri.
If approved, this measure would have authorized the City of Laurie to impose a use tax to be filed by all persons who make over $2,000 in out of state purchases per year. This tax would be at the same rate as the local sales tax of 2% and would change as the sales tax changed.[1]
