A Longview City Transportation District Advisory Vote measure was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Cowlitz County, which is in Washington, where it was defeated.
A yes vote on this measure would have advised the Longview City Council to create a Transportation Benefit District. The no vote would advised the Longview City Council to not create a Transportation Benefit District. The creation of the district would assess an annual $20 per vehicle fee to pay for maintenance and improvement of city streets. No action will result directly from this measure. [1]

“ | Advisory Vote on the Creation of a Transportation Benefit District for the City of Longview Proposition No. 2: This Proposition No. 2 is to consider the question of whether or not the City of Longview should create a Transportation Benefit District in order to assess an annual $20 per vehicle fee to pay for maintenance and improvement of city streets. This proposition is an advisory vote for consideration by the City Council.
