Louisiana Municipal Tax Amendment (1968)

The Louisiana Municipal Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment 7, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 5, 1968, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed to limit municipal taxes to 10 mills with an additional 1 mill to fund police departments.[1]
