Louisiana New Orleans Roadway Assessment Amendment (1968)

The Louisiana New Orleans Roadway Assessment Amendment, also known as Amendment 22, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 5, 1968, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed that New Orleans could place an assessment on properties located in the city in relation to paving or re-paving the roadway that the property abuts.[1]
