The Louisiana Notice of Vacancies Amendment, also known as Amendment 6, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 5, 1968, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that the secretary of state be notified of vacancies in elective offices.[1]
