The Louisiana Port of New Orleans Amendment, also known as Amendment 43, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 5, 1968, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed to allow the Port of New Orleans to borrow funds to improve facilities.[1]
