The Louisiana Veterans' Homestead Exemption Amendment, also known as Amendment 13, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 5, 1968, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed a 5 year homestead exemption for veterans who served more than 6 months in the Viet Nam conflict.[1]
