A Lynden Regional Parks and Recreation District Recreation Facility Bond measure was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Whatcom County, which is in Washington. If approved, this proposition aurthorizes the sale of up to $9,500,000 and the appropriate tax levy to pay the for acquisition of land for the recreation facility.[1]

“ | The Board of Commissioners of Lynden Regional Parks and Recreation District, passed Resolution No. 6 concerning this proposition which authorizes the District to purchase a new turnkey indoor recreation facility, to issue $9,500,000 of general obligation bonds maturing within a maximum term of 30 years to finance acquisition of such facility, and to levy property taxes annually in excess of regular property tax levies to repay such bonds, all as provided in Resolution No. 6.
