M. Richard Geiger
M. Richard Geiger was a judge for the Northeast Judicial District of North Dakota. Geiger was based out of Grafton, which is located in Walsh County. He was elected to the court in 1994 and won re-election most recently in 2012.[1][2] Geiger retired from the court on October 1, 2017.[3]

Education
Geiger earned his B.A. from North Dakota State University in 1973. He earned his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1979.[1]
