Marcus Vanover is a family court judge for the Lincoln, Pulaski and Rockcastle Counties Family Court of the 28th Judicial Circuit, which presides over Rockcastle, Pulaski, and Lincoln counties in Kentucky.[1] He was appointed to the court by Governor Steve Beshear on August 30, 2013, and was elected to a full eight-year term in 2014.[2]  Vanover's current term expires on January 1, 2023.[3]

Vanover ran for re-election to the 28th Judicial Circuit.
General: He defeated Bruce Wayne Singleton in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 62.9 percent of the vote. [4] 

Education

Vanover received his undergraduate degree in sociology and government from Western Kentucky University in 1997 and his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2000.[5][6]
