Two seats on the Spring Branch Independent School District school board were up for at-large general election on May 6, 2017. Position 1 incumbent Josef Klam ran for re-election unopposed and won another term. In Position 2, incumbent Chris Gonzalez defeated challenger Mary Mettenbrink.[1]
