The Maryland Disbursement of State Monies Amendment, also known as Question 2, was on the November 5, 1974 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure authorized the legislature to provide, by law, for the treasurer to disburse state monies by a system other than by the use of checks.[1]
