The Maryland Discipline of Judges Amendment, also known as Question 10, was on the November 5, 1974 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure authorized the Commission on Judicial Disabilities to recommend to the Court of Appeals the censure or disciplining of a judge and to issue a reprimand. The measure also authorized the Court of Appeals to adopt rules governing the confidentiality of Commission proceedings and clarified the power of the Court of Appeals to act upon the recommendation of the Commission.[1]
