Maryland Funding for Clerks of Court, Question 4 (1986)

The Maryland Funding for Clerks of Court Amendment, also known as Question 4, was on the November 4, 1986 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure provided that clerks of court shall be funded through the state budget, and declared all fees, commission or other revenues established by law for these offices shall be state revenues.[1]
