The Maryland Selection of Court of Appeals Judges Amendment, also known as Question 1, was on the November 2, 1976 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure related to the selection, term and tenure of judges of the Court of Appeals and the Court of Special Appeals. The measure also made interim provisions for incumbent judges of those courts.[1]
