Maryland State's Attorneys Vacancies, Amendment 1 (1960)

The Maryland State's Attorneys Vacancies Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 8, 1960 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure amended provisions concerning the filling of vacancies in the office of State's Attorneys to clarify the language with respect to the filling of a vacancy in a county not having a resident judge.[1][2]
