Montana Interest on School Funds, Amendment 2 (1920)

The Montana Interest on School Funds Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the November 2, 1920 ballot in Montana as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure provided that 95 percent of all interest on school funds be apportioned to the school districts of the state and the remaining 5 percent be added to and become a permanent part of the public school funds of the state.[1][2]
