Moon appoints four judges in Hawaii

Hawaii: Yesterday, Chief Justice Ronald Moon appointed four lawyers to the Hawaii District Courts.
- Sheri Ann L. Iha, a supervising deputy prosecutor;
- Steven M. Nakashima, a partner in private practice;
- Michael K. Tanigawa, an attorney with the Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals; and
- Matthew J. Viola, a part-time district judge and lawyer in private practice.
The appointees were chosen from a list compiled by the Judicial Selection Commission. They will serve six-year terms, after being approved by the Hawaii Senate.[1]
