Nancy Maloney is a judge for the Eighteenth Circuit Court in Florida. She was elected to the court in 2014 for a term beginning on January 6, 2015, and expiring on January 4, 2021. [1]

Maloney ran for election to the Eighteenth Circuit Court.
Primary: She was successful in the primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 36.52 percent of the vote. She competed against Maurice Arcadier and John Moser.
General: She defeated John Moser in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 59.1 percent of the vote. [2][1]

Maloney received her B.A. from New York University, her M.A. from Columbia University, and her J.D. from the Rutgers School of Law.[3]

Career

Maloney's prior work experience includes six years as a senior staff attorney for the Child Welfare Legal Services, twelve years as an assistant public defender for the 18th Judicial District, six years as the chief of the Juvenile Division of the 18th Judicial District, and as a counseling director for Upward Bound.[3]
