Nebraska Term Limits and Salaries of Judges, Amendment 1 (1908)

The Nebraska Term Limits and Salaries of Judges Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Nebraska on November 3, 1908, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure provided for the election of a seven-member Supreme Court, with six-year term limits. The measure also provided that Supreme Court justices receive a salary of $4,500 and dsitrict court judges receive a salary of $3,000.[1]
