Nevada School District Tax Waiver (November 2009)
The Nevada School District Tax Waiver proposition was on the November 3, 2009, ballot in Vernon County for voters in this school district.
The proposed waiver sought to waive the 1999 approved sales tax so that it may continue to be collected. Proposition C was approved in 1999 and states that a sales tax will be collected, in the amount of 1 cent, and would go towards the funding of the schools in this district. The sales tax was scheduled to expire in 2009.[1]
