A Normandy School District Bond Issue Question question was approved on the April 2, 2013 election ballot in St. Louis County, which is in Missouri.
This measure authorized the Normandy School District to increase its debt by $7 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount in order to fund the installation of classroom surveillance and wireless communication hardware and software and to acquire technology equipment and other improvements of school facilities. The estimated debt service levy would remain unchanged by this measure.
This measure requires a 4/7ths (57.1%) majority approval rate to pass.[1]

| “ | Shall the Board of Education of the Normandy School District of St. Louis County, Missouri, without an estimated increase in
the current debt service property tax levy, borrow money in the amount of Seven Million Dollars ($7,000,000) for the purpose of providing funds to provide safety and security throughout the District by the installation of classroom surveillance and wireless communication hardware and software; to acquire computer technology equipment and associated furniture improvements towards accomplishing the goal of one-to-one student computing access throughout the District; to install power generator in central office server room and to provide adequate heating and cooling in network closets throughout the District; to replace boilers and complete associated asbestos abatement at the Normandy Middle School, Washington, Jefferson and Bel-Nor Elementary Schools, the Early Childhood Center, and the North Hall at Normandy High School; to the extent funds are available, to complete other heating, ventilation and cooling systems improvements to the existing facilities; and issue bonds for the payment thereof? If this proposition is approved, the adjusted debt service levy of the School District is estimated to remain unchanged at $1.7314 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation of real and personal property.
