North Dakota Temporary Sales Tax Increase, Initiative 3 (1965)

The North Dakota Temporary Sales Tax Increase Initiative, also known as Initiative 3, was on the September 21, 1965 ballot in North Dakota as an initiated state statute, where it was defeated. The measure would have increased the state sales tax from two and a quarter percent to three percent from July 1, 1965 to July 1, 1967.[1][2]
