Oregon election nearing, voter pamphlets mailed

SALEM, Oregon: Primary elections in at least four states are just around the corner. This week in Oregon the secretary of state announced that voter pamphlets are in the mail and on their way to approximately 1.7 million registered voters. Primary elections cost the state an estimated $445,000, according to state officials.[1] For this year's May 18, 2010 primary elections voters will see two ballot measures referred by the state legislature:
