Oregon special election scheduled for November 8 vote

SALEM, Oregon: There may not be any regularly scheduled elections this Fall but Oregonians will still be casting their vote this November 8 on a special primary election. The 1st Congressional District seat is up for grabs following the resignation of David Wu on August 3, 2011.
The 1st Congressional District includes Clatsop, Columbia, Washington, Yamhill counties and part of Multnomah County.
Winners of the special primary vote will move onto the Special Election on January 31, 2012.
