Pat Pardy

Pat Pardy is a judge of the Third Judicial Circuit in South Dakota. He was appointed by Governor Dennis Daugaard on May 6, 2015, for a term that expires in 2022.[1]
Education
Pardy received his J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law.[2]
Military service
Pardy is a colonel in the South Dakota National Guard. He has served two tours of duty in Afghanistan.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Pardy was chief legal counsel for the South Dakota Corrections Department. He has also previously served as a public defender, a deputy state's attorney and in private practice.[1]
