Prop 8 supporters ask U.S. Supremes for stay of YouTube order

On Saturday, January 9, attorneys for supporters of Proposition 8 filed a request with the Supreme Court of the United States for a stay of Judge Vaughn Walker's ruling that cameras will be allowed in his courtroom when he begins hearings on Perry v. Schwarzenegger, the federal lawsuit against California's Proposition 8 on January 11.^[1]

Judge Anthony Kennedy will initially review the request. He may decide on it himself or refer the matter to the full court.^[2]
