The Reedsville School District Bond was a school bond measure on the April 7 ballot in the Benton School District which is in Manitowoc County. The referendum was brought to the ballot by the school board, and it sought to issue debt in the amount of $9,965,000. The debt funds will be used to pay for construction and remodeling projects at the Reedsville High School.

Status
Passed, with 795 "yes" votes and 624 "no" votes.[1]
Tax impact
The tax impact if this measure passes will be "$1 per $1,000 of assessed value in 2009-10, 26 cents per $1,000 in 2010-11 and then will remain flat or decrease until the debt is retired," according to Superintendent Bob Scrivner.[2]
Wording of referendum
Be it resolved by the School Board of the Reedsville School District, Manitowoc and Brown Counties, Wisconsin that there shall be issued pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Wisconsin Statutes, general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $9,965,000 for the public purpose of paying the cost of constructing additions to and remodeling and renovation projects at the Reedsville High School including projects to improve energy efficiency and update technology infrastructure and equipment; and acquiring equipment, furnishings and fixtures."[3]
