Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a former school board member with 6 years experience and training in public service. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Since 2005, I have been a vocal public advocate for the taxpayers of Lacey Township attending Township Committee Meetings, School Board meetings, Lacey Municipal Utility Authority meetings, Planning Board meetings and Board of Adjustment meetings. For the past 3 years I have been attending the Ocean County Commissioner meetings as well. Married 36 years with two sons, a retired Navy Lt and a registered nurse, I have been a very active resident of Lacey Township for over 26 years.

It oversees the County jail system.

Are there any little-known powers or responsibilities held by this office that you believe more people should be aware of?

It's more political than it should be.

Do you believe that it's beneficial for holders of this office to have previous experience in government or politics?

Not necessarily.

What kind of skills or expertise do you believe would be the most helpful for the holders of this office to possess?

A degree in Criminal Justice.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

Utility company clerk and customer service representative - 5 years.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

JF Kennedy assassination.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

Never really looked up to any politician.

What legacy would you like to leave?

That I spent money wisely than anyone else in this particular elected position.

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Nothing that I can think of?

What is your favorite book? Why?

Mostly travel guides- never one particular book. Love to plan adventurous trips.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you want to be?

Only myself. (some of these questions are really not relevant)

What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?

None at this time.

What qualities does this office possess that makes it a unique and important part of the local government?

It oversees the County Jail system.

Not really.

What is an accomplishment that you are proud of?

My sons.
