The Rhode Island Department for Children and Their Families, Proposal 3 was on the ballot in Rhode Island on November 2, 1982, as a legislatively referred bond question. It was approved. The measure authorized $3.1 million in bonds for rehabilitation of facilities and financial aid related to care facilities for children.[1]
