The Rhode Island Freeze on Production and Deployment of Nuclear Weapons, Proposal 10 was on the ballot in Rhode Island on November 2, 1982, as an advisory question. It was approved. Voters chose in favor of recommending a nuclear freeze between the United States and the Soviet Union.[1]

| Should the President of the United States propose to the Soviet Union an immediate, mutual, and verifiable freeze on the production and deployment of nuclear weapons and of new systems designed primarily to deliver such weapons as a first step in reducing the worldwide levels of nuclear armament?[2] |
