Robert Richter is an associate judge of District 1A in Iowa. He was appointed to this position in July of 2011 to replace retired Judge Richard R. Gleason.[1] His current term expires in 2018.
Education
Richter received his bachelor's degree from St. Ambrose University in 2000; he earned his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2003.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Judge Richter served as an assistant district attorney in Dubuque, Iowa.[2]
2012 election
Richter was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 79.18% of the vote.[3][4]
