Robert Fairchild (Kansas)
Robert W. Fairchild is a former judge for the Seventh Judicial District in Kansas. He was appointed to the court in 1996 and became chief judge in 2002.[1] Fairchild retired on September 9, 2016.[2]
Education
Fairchild received a B.A. from Texas Tech University, and a J.D. from the University of Kansas in 1973.[3]
Career
Fairchild was an attorney in private practice from 1973 to 1996. He was also the county counselor for Douglas County for about 10 years. He teaches a course called alternative dispute resolution as an adjunct professor at the University of Kansas School of Law.[1]

Fairchild was retained to District 7 with 77.3 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [4]
