Rockwood School District Bond Measure (April 2010)

A Rockwood School District Bond Measure was on the April 6, 2010 ballot in the Rockwood school district which is in Jefferson and St. Louis Counties.

This measure was approved in Jefferson County.

  • YES 116 (70.73%)Approveda
  • NO 48 (29.27%)[1]

This measure was also approved in St. Louis County.

  • YES 10,806 (63.99%)Approveda
  • NO 6,081 (36.01%)[2]

This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $55,000,000 in order to renovate, expand, repair, construct and acquire updated technology for various school buildings in the district as well as purchasing new buses. This bond will not increase property taxes in the school district area.[3]
