Russell McElyea

Russell McElyea is a water court judge for the Water Court in Montana. He became the chief judge of the court on July 1, 2013, replacing retiring Chief Judge C. Bruce Loble.[1]
Education
McElyea earned a B.S. from Northern Arizona University and a J.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder.[2]
Career
Before serving on the Water Court, McElyea was a lawyer in Big Sky, Montana. His practice focused on Water Law, Real Estate, and Land Use Planning.[2]
