S. Phillip Brown
S. Phillip Brown was a judge of the Macon Circuit of Georgia.[1] He was appointed to the court by former Governor Zell Miller in 1996 and served on the court until his retirement in December 2013.[2]
Education
Brown received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and his J.D. from Mercer University in 1967.[3]

- 1969-1971: Attorney in private practice
- 1967-1969: Government Attorney, Internal Revenue Service
- 1967: Admitted to the Georgia Bar[4][5]
2012 election
Brown ran unopposed for re-election to the Macon Superior Court.[6] He was re-elected after receiving 99.7% of the vote in the July 31 election.[7]
