Senior federal judge for Eastern District of Pennsylvania to step down

Pennsylvania: Federal Judge John Fullam, of the District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, announced his plans to retire on Wednesday, March 23. Judge Fullam was appointed by former president Lyndon B. Johnson in 1966. Fullam announced that he plans to retire on April 15 of this year, and said this when asked about his plans: "I hope to continue to breathe. After all, I'll be 90 in September." Judge Fullam is remembered in judicial history for presiding over several notable cases, including the Abscam political-corruption probe and the bankruptcy of Penn Central.[1]
